1978-1993
I started sculpting when i was very young. It’s a technique that has always been very natural to me. I found a piece of wood that inspired me and I carved it.
Going back to compare arts to languages, I would say that sculpting is my mother tongue, and painting represents a foreign language that I’ve been studying for a long time.
Wood is the material that I prefer. I tried to do some terracotta works, and I believe it’s a very interesting technique I should deepen. I also would like to try to work with marble.
There are many more sculptures than shown in this page, but since I did them when I was really young, I lost all the contacts with them.
